CD Storage

Home Comments Off

CD storage has become a problem for those who have way to many CDs at home. The reason for the number of CDs is that it is not used solely for music anymore. It is used to store digital photographs and other relevant computer data.

You can find the traditional CD storage towers almost anywhere. These towers have slots just large enough for you to fit in a single CD. The downside for the tower is that it is difficult to clean and seems impossible to keep it looking like new.

For a different look on you CD storage you can use a two drawer wooden filing cabinet just for this purpose. They fit nicely on their end in the drawer, and I can just slide the drawer open when I need something. You can fit a lot of these in one drawer, and if you go this route, you will always know where your CDs are, and as a bonus, they are somewhat protected from dust build up and spills.

There are endless possibilities with what you can use as your CD storage. An old shoe box, storage boxes form craft stores etc. It is important though that it will keep your CD from getting scratched and dusted. Explore and use your imagination.
